Not too hard. When approaching the edge, dash and jump. Works every time for me. Only if you get hit you might fall in, but considering that the enemies are too far away to lock Zero in their sights, they don't bother shooting.
The Crystal Cave stage, isn't it? Where you fight Harpuia the first time?

As annoying as the spikes are in the Zero series I think the procedure to get a certain sub tank on Megaman ZX is pretty ridiculous too. What with the lava chasing you while you have to bust down walls with Model PX.

Yeah I've recently been playing through MMZX and I was trying to get the fourth sub tank. Actually it was Model FX though. Kinda fudged up there.

So we have a robot invulnerable to outer space, radiation, lasers, diamond-edge cutting tools, grenades, gigantic rock fists, laser blades, ghosts, robo-ghosts, fire, ice, lightning, freefalls from a thousand feet, and it dies on FUGGING ROCK SPIKES?

Everything was fine until the diamond-edge cutting tools.
How can Rock Spikes, designed to poke everywhere in particular, be more lethal than something designed to cut you at an angle than kills you?

Well, while none of the enemies of MMZ ever actually HAD a diamond edge cutting tool, they have swords that achieve something similar.

But no, Zero never got killed by these, but the second he touches those damn rock spikes...

I'm beginning to think the rocks are Kryptonite and Zero is Superman.
Funny how I lived a sheltered life when it comes to Megaman, my first Megaman games did NOT involve reflexes (that are the difference between life and death, anyway). Geo Stelar is WAY too pampered.
Megaman: Powered Up, however...The Guts Man stage is something I would remove from existence. Forever.
My condolences to people who play games involving luck and reflexes.

Yeah, every stinking game~! :rage:

And there have only been a few incidents where you could actually walk over them and that would be in the "X" series. With Chameleon sting charged up, the mechanoloid mech riding armors and the Gaea armor from X5...and I think that's all of them. Correct me if I missed one.

I believe that was X6 or whatever one has the X's Ninja suit. Yep,yep, and yep. Unless you are talking Axl in X8 where can copy a drone DNA and be able to walk on spike but I dont follow the story after X5 because they killed it after the creator of Megaman left the series to start the Zero series... Capcom now just hate megaman now... Stupid people.

No, it was X5 that had the Gaea armor that could walk on spikes. Izzy Glow boss stage that had this pit of spikes right at the beginning where there is a bridge that you lower to cross. You have to have the Gaea armor and jump down into the pit to get a heart tank at the bottom and you had to walk across the spikes to get it.

That game had the Falcon armor, Gaea armor, Fourth armor and Ultimate armor (both from X4)The Nova Strike was awesome~! :D

But yeah I know what you mean I really stopped paying attention after X5..and I don't know/remember as much about X6...to me, X6 was just a cheap ploy to get money...it didn't really have any substance to it...just some more mindless fighting through stages and bosses. The same can be said for X7...Oh God that game was awful~!
X8 was good though, I actually enjoyed it.

and I stop care for the X series after X5. X6,X7 and X8 is an insult to the megaman story line, but the graphics for X8 were awesome and Vava came back. :iconeweplz:

Well most of the armor I could careless about but I did like the fourth armor from X4 cause of the Nova Strike..that attack was bad ass~! It plowed through everything in its way.

I know I totally hear ya I guess I meant that X8 was good by its beautiful graphics and good handling and just being entertaining on a gameplay bases...it also had nice music. I didn't like that continuation of supposed RMX story line. They were just running it into the ground by the time X6 came out...the creator of the series had the right idea...after X5 it needed to end.

True that pain in the ass did come back, with a funky new make over to boot. Although I think the real pain in the asses were Bit and Byte from X3. Those guys just didn't know when to go away.
